D20 Rockwheel in Gaildorf, Baden-Württemberg
The Project
The removal of a foundation in the densely populated residential area of Gaildorf, Baden-Württemberg. The old foundation of a garden wall had to be demolished due to renovation.
Overview
Quickly and efficiently the Rockwheel D15 attached to a 16t Hidromek excavator removed the foundation from the front garden without disturbing the neighbours. Demolition drums with a helically shaped web cut through the reinforcement with ease.
To further reduce impact to the residents and local environment the use of five nozzles sprayed a fine water mist towards the drum, preventing any dust from spreading.
What worked Well
Quite and Low vibration – perfect in built up areas
Maximum performance – Efficient at cutting through concrete including reinforcement
Cost Effective – Excavated pebble size material used for backfilling
