Whitby Harbour

Our Rockwheels are no stranger to working on marine and harbour projects. Our Rockwheel cutting attachments have been used effectively to dig trenches underwater in the Maldives and recently more closer to home in the historic seaside town of Whitby.

This major project brought together tmsmaritime, waitings and Webster Technologies to support renovation and refurbishment to the existing piers – some of which are Grade II listed and date back to the 18^th Century.

TMS Ltd have in excess of 28 years of expertise as a Marine Contractor within Civil Engineering and were responsible for completing the repair works to the piers, supported by Waitings Plant Hire ;  the North Wests leading rental company for long reach and specialist marine plant equipment delivering complex engineering solutions on projects around the world for the past 50 years.
