The World’s Smallest Cutting Unit.

Rockwheel has reached two new milestones with the C2 which is the worlds smallest cutting unit, all cutting units now feature a full-length Hardox central protective plate, as well as a ripper bar and water spray bar as optional extras. The C2 chain-driven cutting unit is by far the industry’s smallest and most lightweight cutting unit for use with micro and mini excavators with operating weights of between less than 1tonne and 3 tonnes.

Weighing only 65kg, our C2 is a veritable ultra-lightweight compared with comparable competitor’s products, which literally weigh twice as much. A 9.5kW powerful high-speed motor drives the internal chain drive and the two cutting heads equipped with picks.

The robust and deliberately simple design of the C2 is only 300mm wide and produces an outstanding 570Nm torque and 4.22 kN pick force at a hydraulic pressure of 175 bar, which is realistic for micro- and mini-excavators. The cost effective C2 is perfect for interior renovation work, small scale demolition, gardening and landscaping, trenching and cutting out tree stumps.
